would taking a male hamster that is about a year- a year in a half and breeding him with a girl who is ready for her (first time) run a risk of infertility? Or would it be fine? would the litter be good.

Everything would be fine, just keep in mind hamsters CAN have up to 10 babies at a time, and that your male hamster only has about a year and a half left in him.
