Neighbors pet rabbits keep coming onto our lawn?

Our neighbor refuses to put his pet rabbits in cages - they keep coming onto our property, eating the lawn grass and pooping all over the place. Does anyone know of something I could spread on the ground (between my property and his) to keep them away? Wonering if there's a scent or chemical that they hate and would tend to avoid that could be spread on the ground easily. (We have about a 40 foot long tree line between us, so it needs to be something that could cover that large of an area without being exepensive.)
Answers:
we have that same problem i would suggest putting coyote urine all around your area it should work they tend to avoid that kind of scent
call police.
You don't want to kill them do you?
That would be cruel. Its not the rabbits fault.
I would reccomend spreading food on their side of the lawn, or you could even get a fence. If you don't want to do that i would just reccomend talking to your neighbor.
If they are digging under the fence I would hammer re barb into the ground so they would have a hard time digging under.
Our bunnies run loose but we have chicken wire under the sod and up along the fence to keep them from digging out. Maybe you're neighbor could do something similar.
Have you TOLD THE NEIGHBORS!! Just tell the neighbors you don't want them on your lawn. They should keep them indoors! Just tell the nighbors. It isn't that hard.
I would suggest getting one of those motion detectors that spray water if they sense movement. You can find them in alot of catalogs like Harriet Carter %26 lawn %26 garden type magazines.
Your neighbors (forgive me) are REALLY dumb to do this.hawks, dogs, cats and other predators love an easy meal like that.
