My rabbits wont go in the litterbox :/?

they do poop and pee in there but they also go in other places too...I cant seem to litterbox train them. ANy easy solutions?
Answers:
Reduce their living space to a minimum so they don't have much choice as to where to "go". Put in at least two litterboxes placed in the corners. Place a small handful of hay in each box and no where else. As they begin to hit their mark, SLOWLY increase their living space. Expect "territorial" droppings ( one here, three there). That's normal.
Give them a paper grocery bag or small cardboard box to play in so they won't hang out in the litterbox so much.
They DO want to go in the same place. That's why it is so easy to litter box train them. Even my rabbits that don't have litter boxes go in one or two corners.
Use non-clumping litter such as pelleted newspaper or pine. Let it get a little dirty before you clean it out at first (3 -4 days). Then clean up as often as you normally would.
You can expect training to last up to 1 1/2 months but it is WELL worth any effort. Your rabbit will likely live 6- 9 years, after all.
Welcome to my world. I've got 3 rabbits, and they will sometimes use the litterbox, but often do it as they go when out. Some animals are "passive poopers", meaning they just go as it comes. I'm not certain if rabbits are, but I know our kangaroo and wallaby are. They of course aren't litterbox trained, but the rabbits seem to be the same way. Just my experience...not certain if that's a fact.
go in 1st
I was always told by my aunt who sold and bred rabbits that they were as the previous man put it "free-poopers" She sometimes fashioned diapers for them. Good luck.
a tip that i found helpful, was, rabbits tend to urinate in one corner, so put the litterbox in the corner your bunny tends to pee in. As for poops i gave up on that, as my bunny poops everywhere, luckily there poops are hard pellets so its fairly easy to pick up with a dustpan and brush, hope this helps!
When they poo somewhere else, shovel it up and put it in the box. You may even try not changing it for a few days so the know that's where their poo and pee goes.
Put a less comfortable bedding in the lotterbow that in the cage, to keep it from sleeping there.
