Neighbour found a baby domestic rabbit in her garden?

she wanted to keep it but she has a rottweiler who hates small furry things
I already have a rabbit but i couldnt bear for him/her to be put in a rescue centre so young!
apparently a woman near us had over bred her rabbit s and just let all the babies out to run wild so this rabbit is so lucky to be found!! could of been killed or anything- its so gorgeous too grey and has sticky up ears- not sure what breed it is tho!!
i dont know whether to keep it on permantly or not !!
how do i sex the rabbit?
any sites i can look on to determine the type of rabbit as a baby?
Answers:
I am glad you said you would report her if you knew who it was.
As for the rabbit I think your best bet is to take it to a vets and see what they think you should do,
RSPCA have a really good site you could try that.
the woman who bred them wants reporting
you should report the lady.
I would seriously call the RSPCA.
She had no right to let domestic rabbits out.
If you are gonna keep yours you will need to get it to the vet, you wont want yours getting any disease or infections that it may be carrying.
What you going to call it?
You can sex it at about 12 weeks old.
google rabbits to get your info
and I'd report the original owner to the rspca for cruelty
Hiya that is so good of you to consider keeping it, it sounds like my baby rabbits with the sticky up grey ears my vet told me most rabbits are now crossbreed but this type is a butterfly cross. This is the first time we had rabbits and they are so loving and loveable you will get a lot of pleasure. If you decide it is not viable try local pet shops who will be able to get it a good home and at least take care of it in the mean time.
To check the sex it is best to go to the vet they will do this for free as it is difficult to tell the sex before around 10wks due to a males parts not decending straight away.
As for this woman who carries on breeding these bunnies and leaving them to fend for themselves how do they eat or drink let alone fend off, or not as would obviously be the case, a fox or dog, or bird or even children the thought is unbearable you have to report her to the police and the RSPCA
good luck in your decision x
Below is a website on how to sex rabbits. http://www.debmark.com/rabbits/sexing.ht...
Sounds like it's destiny that this bunny found you and wants to adopt you as a friend, sounds cute, i found this link to sex a bunny, it's quite informative without being too blah blah blah
http://www.wikihow.com/know-the-gender-o...
rabbitinfo.com or google it or kit care a.k.a baby rabbits
I am begging you to report that evil woman who breeds them
dont worry about it.
The young lady next keeps a pet rabbit and one day she let it loose in her garden. Her rabbit dug a hole under my fence and ran across my garden then dug another hole under another fence and intonext doors garden. She had to knock on 20doors until finally she got her rabbit back.
