Need help on hamsters?

i have 2 hamsters one barely gave out babies but both want to eat them i dont kno wat to do please help
Answers:
get another cage.
hamsters are not social animals. they usually try to either eat or bite each other. after mom hamster gives birth, she get emotional if father is still around the same cage. so getting another cage %26 separating them is a a good idea. Keep the babies with the mother %26 put father on his solitude.
cheap cage cost around $20 probably including water bottle and food dish. or u probably can get a used one from www.craigslist.com for cheaper or even free.
When hammies have babies, they have less protien in their bodies and protien comes from - that's right, meat. So add more protien and meat to their diet. Most yogurts and most cooked meats seem to do very well.
Lady listen you have some weird hamsters. Just separate the hamsters for a while. Like put the babies with the mom if she still wants to eat them then you ill have to play mother. Th other should be isolated for a while with interaction occasionally.
Maybe they don't want to eat them maybe they just groom them strangely. You have some strange hamsters no offence to the hamsters.
Try going to

Or look up info on www.metacrawler.com
Unless you want a whole lot more babies seperate them all, it will not take long before they all start to reproduce. You can get rid of the babies by taking them to a local pet store, I've done that before. But like I said unless you want more they will all have to seperated, another reason they may be eating the babies is that there is not enough room in the cage and/ or there is something wrong with the babies. As with most animals if there is something wrong with the off spring the mother will dispose of them, it's a part of nature. The first time i ever had hamsters I realized it was best to only have one, they are rodents and just keep multiplying.
