My rabbit has just given birth to 8 kits. i have seperated the male but is it ok for her sister to access her?

they seem to get along fine no fighting or anything. would she be a threat to the litter?
Answers:
It's better to keep the doe and her kits separate form any other rabbits until the kits are weaned.
Otherwise the mother may eat the kits, she may kill her sister, or the sister could kill the kits.
I wouldn't do it..unless you want the mom 2 eat her babies or kill her sister.
Rabbits no matter if male or female can kill the bunnies. I would not put her in the cage with the mother and babies. Besides the mother may feel threatened and kill the sister.
I don't think the sister would be a threat to the little but the mom may be a threat to her sister.
The most docile and gentle have been known to be a little vicious when it comes to protecting the young. Especially if it is her first. I had a mini lop and she growled and jumped at me when I first went in to check on the kits.
The sister may be "jealous" as in they aren't hers and they are in her territory and as sweet as she may usually be could be a threat to the little ones.
If you can separate them it may be wise to do so, rather than wait to see if they will be OK together.
Your rabbit needs to be all alone with her babies. you need to keep the other rabbits out because the others may kill the babies
DONT DO IT MAN!
