Yeah, loads of them wind up euthanised. Probably to prevent pain to the animal in the future or some other BS. It's horrible.

NO! I wish people would research PETA then all the rumors would be dispelled. As a matter of fact, I receive petitions and e-mail addresses to contact on a regular basis from PETA. It always involves contacting 'important people' about ways to stop needless killing of animals as well as animal abuse.
PETA has had to euthanize animals on several occasions and it was because they were found in such a terrible state that letting them live would have been a sin.
Yes, they do. They get animals and say they will put them up for adoption, and they euthanize them immediately.
PETA has gotten to be a real wing-nut bunch.
