Which pet store do you prefer?
I don't have any pets and I am interested in what kind of pets you have, what store you prefer to shop at, and why.
Answers:
I've worked at both and my answer is petsmart! Petco sucks. Visit both stores and you will see why.
Why do you ask if you don't have pets?
Don't buy food products from either one- they sell cheap crappy foods that are no good for your pets. I wouldn't buy live animals from either store. For toys, shampoo, etc. they are okay, but if you want to buy a live animal, find a local breeder or else a specialty private pet store in your area. For food, find a private pet store or holistic pet food store.
I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH PETCO, BUT I DON'T BUY ANYTHING AT A PET STORE THAT SELLS PETS, THEY ARE USSUALLY FROM PUPPIES FARMS, TRY TO GET ON THE WEB HOW THEY ARE BREED , I'M SURE YOUR NOT GOING TO LIKE IT.

I have a pitbull and a yorkie, and in my opinion, petsmart has a bigger variety of toys and treats.
Honestly, I prefer Petco. Where I live, the Petsmart store don't seem to take well care of their animals. Maybe it's just the one I go to, but I have seen a dead lizard%26some birds/guinea pigs that look like they have blood on them. I have been disgusted with that place. I don't think Petco has alot of variety though.
I have a Cat but the picture is in Hubpages.com and if you search Smokey cat in their search bar and scroll where the picture of a rat and a cat together and you click on the picture and you see a Gray cat that is my cat. I shop at petco because I have a discount card.
well i like petsmart becouse they have a vet and they have really great service they train youre dogs for free and have a ton of pets for adoption
petco unlike petsmart doesnt have any vetrinarys or free training and i love the service @ petsmart
I don't shop at either mainly because they do not have any stores in Australia, where I live! Here is a list of animals and where I have got them from:
- 2 spoodles (spaniel cross poodles, dog) - Pet City, a big pet store which has a vet that works there 7 days a week
- 1 guinea pig - Pet store - specialises in guinea pigs
- 2 guinea pigs - Various breeders
I also have other various animals brought from pet stores (fish etc). All of my supplies for my guinea pigs are either purchased from my cavvy savvy vet or online. All of my supplies for my dogs are brought from my normal vet (food, collars). I love all of my pets although if there was 1 rescue/shelter within 5 hours of where I live I would have adopted. Saying that I would not swap my pets for millions of dollars!!
I have a dog, but for toys and treats I perfer PetSmart. Though I buy dog food at Walmart.:) It's nothing bad to shop at any.

Both stores are pretty nice for pet supplies.! I used to get most of my pet supplies from Petco.
